Wakey wakey
My alarm was set to go off at 6.40am so I could grab a shower right after my man, then have enough time to get ready for my first day at work. But I woke at 4.30 this morning with a growling stomach and a sore back. I tossed and turned in bed hoping that I could get back to sleep again. But since I am now typing this post at 5am, need I say more??I am now having terrible butterflies in my stomach because I have not worked for more than 1.5 years (1 year studying, 4.5 months waiting for my work permit, 2 months waiting for a job offer) already and I am very antsy about getting back to the working world. How to calm myself down?? Let's think about...paycheck, vacation, shopping spree, paycheck, paycheck...
Anyway, the weather is very not promising today. It's gonna be a dark and rainy day. But well, I'm in the Netherlands, so...GET OVER IT!! I just gonna bring a big umbrella to make sure that my makeup would survive intact in the heavy rain. You don't want mascara smeared all over your face on your first day, right?? Wish me luck, everyone!!

Oh God I'm so embarrassed, I didn't stop by your blog for a week and totally missed the entry where you announced you had gotten a job when I commented on the entry about your hubs being sick... sorry!
In any event, congratulations on getting a job that suits you so perfectly! I hope your first day went well. I know how unnerving first days can be but I'm sure you did great. Please to be updating us on it soon; I promise I won't miss it :)
And I bet you're looking forward to that first paycheck, eh? :P

Good luck! So how is it? Do you like it? Starting a job after a long time is a strange experience. I'm glad you're in the habit of writing so that you can get it down. I'm excited for you. It's almost like I know you. Enjoy it!
